Nikon D4 and Time-lapse?

If you weren’t under a rock or out in a desert in the last week (< like I was) then you would have noticed the announcement of the D4. Now If you’re an avid reader like I am of Nikon Rumors you would already know of the base specs of the camera so I won’t go into those here (get the specs here), but what I did notice over at the Ken Rockwell page but not on the Nikon D4 fluff page was the mention of 24–36,000x time-lapse mode. Now the Nikon D4 fluff page does mention Time-lapse photography as part of the specifications but does not go into detail. does the D4 continue on the same intervalometer path as its predecessors or has something new just been revealed in the Nikon world of time-lapse photography? I can’t wait to put one of these in my hand and see what we have.

Here is a snippet from the Ken Rockwell page.
