Firstly let me just point out I am not primarily a Canon shooter so I’m going off some research I have done and do apologise if the below list there are any mistakes. This is specifically for the DSLRs in the Canon range and not the point and shoot, with which there are many that have built in intervalometers.
Here is a list of Canon DSLRs that can shoot time-lapse sequences, BUT they do need the assistance of a laptop or an attached or wireless remote. C’mon Canon get some intervalometers built in will you :0).

OH it’s all good. There are some great remotes out there that can do it all for you. My fav at this present time is the Aputure remote series. Here are a couple that will bode well for the Canon shooters. Does anybody have any other cool triggers they want to share that they use on their Canon DSLR?
